What happens after getting a rank of 100-200 in the GATE in context to PSU's ?

First of all , forms of most of the PSU’s have to be filled by the GATE aspirants before giving the actual final exam. If you manage to get rank between 100–200; Then get ready ! every PSU is going to Call you . Now there are two types of PSU’s

1. PSU’s which give weightage to GATE SCORE like BHEL 75% ,IOCL 85% ONGC 60% ,HAL ,HPCL, OIL etc .Here Interviewer is going to just test you basic knowledge and your conversational skills. They are going to judge you whether you are really serious about your job or not. If you wish to work there , just brush up your basics and start increasing your general awareness.
2. PSU’S like BARC where GATE score wont matter. They are going to test your concept clarity and in depth knowledge.

So, In the end its upto you, where you want to work and prepare accordingly .
